Introducing Dollcember

November is National Novel Writing Month for me, or NaNoWriMo.  For those who aren't familiar, that's the goal to write a 50,000-word novel, or 50,000 words of a novel, during the month of November.  As a longtime writer, I've been doing NaNoWriMo every year since 2006 (and writing novels for even longer.  In addition, I've been an ML (Municipal Liaison, or basically a volunteer local coordinator) for NaNoWriMo since 2015, which means a lot of planning and leading local write-ins (local events where we basically just meet up and write - great for maintaining motivation throughout the month).

All the write-ins and extra writing time have kept me pretty busy, so I have done very little with my dolls lately, other than take pictures of Sophie (my mascot this year) at my write-ins.  That's going to change in December.  I'm planning on making up for lost time by creating "Dollcember," which will be, essentially, a goal to do something doll-related every day of the month in December.

Personally, I have a ton of project dolls to complete, so I'm going to use Dollcember to work on them.  My goal is, specifically, to work on a doll every day.  Ideally I'd like to finish a doll every day, but I'm not sure if that will be entirely possible.  Some need a lot of work!  I could, however, focus on the ones that don't need as much, so that I can knock out 31 dolls during the month of December.  (Yes, I have more project dolls than that - many more, I'm afraid.)

I'm going to introduce the challenge on Instagram and in my Facebook doll groups as well, and we'll see if anyone joins me in the challenge.

What about you?  If you were to do something doll-related every day in December, what would your goal look like?
